Adult Detention Officer Certification

The Adult Detention Officer certification course is offered to local law enforcement agencies. This 112 hour course is for officers who work in the jail system. The training is to ensure and maintain effective supervision, reasonable care, and support for all inmates during incarceration in the jail. This course also provides training that will ensure the safety of the officers.

This training is not open to the public…*All enrollees must currently be employed by a county or municipal jail system.
