"The workforce program changed my life in an astonishing way. The program was amazing and the teachers (Henry, Ingram, and Stewart) are very patient and passionate about helping their students. They would do any and everything they possibly can to make sure their students achieve their goal. I will always be grateful to every single one of them, especially Mrs. Henry. Presently enrolled in the Automotive class."

The SMCC Workforce Training Center has trained numerous EMTs and Advanced EMTs who have become valued employees for AAA. We also appreciate being able to schedule some of our own training when we need a larger venue.

Drax’s relationship with SMCC has been long standing since we opened our Gloster site in 2015 by helping to provide quality training to our workforce. They have exceeded Drax expectations of skills training by providing customized training to the needs of wood products and manufacturing. They were instrumental last year in helping Drax form relationships with area wood product organizations for shared learning and skills development. They provided quality training with a cost factor that is minimal. Drax will continue, a long-term relationship with SMCC as they have proven to be a very valuable asset

The education I got at SMCC well prepared me for taking care of my patients on the ambulance. The instructor and workforce training coordinator were always easy to work with and always went above and beyond to cheer you on to success
